The scuttling of the German pocket battleship Graf Spee is shown, off the coast of Uruguay in December of 1939. Features footage of the Graf Spee's captain Hans Langsdorff, and the aftermath of the Battle of the River Plate. Various British ships from Hunting Group 'G' of the South Atlantic Squadron (HMS Exeter, HMS Ajax, HMS Cumberland and HMS Achilles) are shown along with Beagle Class destroyers such as H30.
